Wherever I Go

London

I made a music video!

I’ve been living in London since I started my BA in September, and I love it here. There are so many things going on, so many sites to see, and it’s beautiful. I wanted to capture my experiences of London on camera, and the perfect opportunity arose – Mark Knopfler (from Dire Straits) is running a competition to create a music video for his latest song “Wherever I Go” from his new album.

Of course, as I’m a massive fan of Dire Straits and Mark Knopfler, I instantly jumped out of bed (I’ve been recovering from being in hospital last week), grabbed my boyfriend, and explored central and South London filming some gorgeous views. I also decided to add in a few references to Mark’s life by filming one of my Dire Straits LPs and The Duke pub in Deptford, which is where Dire Straits started and used to perform.

I’m not asking you to vote for me, as Mark and his record company are choosing the winner, but I’d love it if you’d check out the video over at Talenthouse – the song is beautiful!
