Alice in Wonderland Nails! ♠

I can’t get enough of these Alice in Wonderland nail decals! I mentioned them in my Aliexpress post, but I didn’t show them on my nails or anything, and I thought they deserved their own review.

I haven’t had much experience with nail art (except those glitter / crackle top coats you can buy, if that even counts), so I didn’t really know what to expect from these. For just over £1, I wasn’t bothered if they were crap, but I was pleasantly surprised! As you can see from the pictures, I got sent loads of different Alice in Wonderland designs, varying from the Disney film, the Lewis Carroll book illustrations, the Tim Burton film, and other Wonderland-related designs like cards, keys and teapots.

To apply these can be quite fiddly, but I got the hang of it! You roughly cut around the design you want, peel the clear protective layer off and place it in water for about 10 seconds. Then take it out of the water, and the decal design should easily slide off the backing paper, which you apply on your nail.  One thing I need to mention is that a top coat is imperative! I tried a few without a topcoat and they barely lasted the day, so I picked up the Barry M All-in-one basecoat, topcoat and nail hardener from Boots, which makes the designs last about a week!

I’m excited to try them out with different nail polishes underneath, but they probably look better with light / pastel colours, like Essie Romper Room. Overall, I’m really pleased with these nail decals, they’re an easy and mess-free way of making your nails look cute. I’ll definitely be ordering more!
