Things to do in London at Night

I feel like I haven’t done a London-related blog post in a while, so to get back in the swing of things, here’s a few ideas I have floating around in my brain about what to do in London at night. Towards the end of last year, a few too many late nights meant my friends and I became somewhat nocturnal, so I definitely have had lots of night-time fun in the city! Musical Theatre! The West End is filled with tons of amazing shows; my boyfriend and I make a thing of going out to dinner then a musical, and…

Awesome Android Apps

As I lie here sick in bed (gastroenteritis is not fun), when I’m not sleeping or watching YouTube videos, I’m bored out of my mind. My Kindle has run out of charge and I don’t know where the charger is, so I’ve decided to write a blog post. Alas, I have no other ideas in my brain right now, so today I’m writing about the awesome apps I have on my phone. My phone is a OnePlus One, because I’m not a mainstream kinda gal (or perhaps because I copied my boyfriend), so all of these apps are for Android and…

Selling All Of My Clothes?!

If you follow me on Twitter, you may have noticed that I’ve been shamelessly plugging my Depop over the last few days, because I’m trying to sell a lot of my clothes on there. I have way too many clothes – my wardrobes at home and university are full, along with a chest of drawers, shelves, and even boxes under my bed… so it’s definitely about time I got rid of some clothes, especially the things that I’ve never even worn! Stupidly, my student halls rent is due before I get my student finance payment, meaning I’m using my overdraft…

My Vinyl Record Collection

I’ve been collecting vinyl for over a year now, and my collection has gotten pretty big. I have a lot of Elvis, The Beatles, Nirvana, and recently I’ve been getting some more modern stuff too, like the Arctic Monkeys. As a musician, and music-lover, I can honestly say that music sounds better on vinyl, and collecting my favourites on vinyl has become a bit of an addiction. My wishlist is ever-growing, (I still don’t have any Lana Del Rey!), but I thought it was about time I shared it with everyone, so I made a vinyl collection video on my YouTube…

10 Things That Have Made Me Happy Recently

As university is getting a bit stressful at the moment, with essay deadlines, module choices, dissertation proposals (ahh!) and looming exams, I’ve been trying my hardest to not get overwhelmed by radiating positivity and organising my life. My blog has been a bit neglected this month because I’ve had to prioritise university things, but classes end on Friday so I’ll have a bit more free time soon (except the fact that I need to write 4 more essays and revise for 2 exams). Anyway, I’ve been keeping a little list of things that I’m grateful for recently, and what…

My Denim Jacket: Pins & Patches

My Denim Jacket: Pins & Patches It’s been over a year since I started collecting pins and patches for my denim jacket, and it’s getting pretty full! It’s not completely finished yet, there’s a still a few band patches I want to get, but I thought I’d make a little blog post and video showing what I have on it in case anyone wants to see. Most of the patches I have are band ones, including Elvis, The Beatles and Nirvana of course, and yes I know I need to get a Rolling Stones one! I also have a couple…

The Bluffer’s Guide to Social Media

You may have heard of the “Bluffer’s Guide” series, which has been around for 40 years now, providing bestselling compact guides for almost everything. The Bluffer’s Guide to Social Media is the latest one, written by Susie Boniface, a blogger and journalist. She definitely knows her stuff! I was sent a copy to review, and I was surprised at how small it is! I read the 128 pages of social media advice on a train journey, and although it wasn’t particularly new knowledge to me as a blogger and social media addict, I did learn some new things and it made me…

My New Glasses from Firmoo

As you may know, I’m quite short-sighted and have astigmatism (fun times), which means I wear contact lenses every day, but sometimes it’s nice to take a break and just wear glasses. Usually I only wear my glasses when I’m studying a lot, if I have exams, or if I don’t have time to get ready in the morning and put some contact lenses in. Recently I’ve been wanting to give my eyes a bit of a break, but I (stupidly) left my glasses at home in Devon.

Jewellery Box

Jewellery Box is one of those companies that I’ve been meaning to order from for a while, I’ve seen them featured on so many blogs, and they have so many cute pieces. I was having a browse last week, and was lusting over their nose studs in particular, as I haven’t changed mine since I got my nose pierced over a year ago! Jewellery Box tweeted me saying they’d send me over a few things to review, and I literally squealed with excitement and picked out my favourite necklace, earrings and nose stud eagerly.
