Body Shop Lightening Drops

Good morning! Today I wanted to share a product that I’ve been using recently and loving, the Body Shop Lightening shade adjusting drops. I believe it’s a new release of theirs, and I couldn’t resist trying it out. I have never been able to get a foundation that actually matches my skintone, because the palest shade of most brands is always far too dark for me. I typically use a BB cream and blend it out a lot to try and not look ridiculous, but now I can add a few drops of this amazing lightening product to all of the foundations I have that are too dark and it fixes them perfectly!

Body Shop Lightening Drops

It comes with a perpet-like dropper to easily add some drops of shade-adjusting lightener to your foundation, and it really does wonders. The drops are not quite white, they’re an illuminating pale pink, which counteract yellow tones. The consistency isn’t thick at all, so it works with most liquid foundations, and 1 drop apparently lightens by 1/2 a shade. I really recommend these if you’re like me and can’t find a foundation light enough for you. This product is only £10 from the Body Shop, and they do a darkening product too for those who need it!

  1. I suggest to use solvaderm Juvabrite Skin Brightener Cream for better skin whitening, solvaderm brand products are clinically proven and having good results , I have researched this cream, hope it will help the reader.

  2. I want these in both the lightening and darkening versions because it would be so much easier to adjust my foundation instead of constantly having to get new ones!

  3. This is amazing!! I always struggle to find the right shade of foundation, and then when I finally do it gets discontinued! Definitely going to be looking into this. Also the only brand I’ve found who has foundation light enough for me is Bobbi Brown, have you tried them?? xx

  4. Such a good idea! Foundations are always too dark for me, definitely going to have to try this out!
