12 Best Witchy Cozy Games You Need To Play in 2026

Whether you’re into potion-making, magical storylines, or just want to curl up with a cozy game that feels like a warm cup of tea, this list is for you.

Here are 12 of the best witchy cozy games to add to your collection in 2026. The majority of these games are available on both Steam and Switch, with only 2 not currently available on Switch.

Let’s jump in:

wytchwood cozy game on nintendo switch

1. Wytchwood

Jumping right in with one of my favourite witchy games: Wytchwood. This one is criminally underrated! I binge-played it last year.

You play as a mysterious old witch in a storybook-inspired world, collecting ingredients, brewing spells, and casting moral judgments on strange fairy-tale characters.

It’s whimsical, sarcastic, and full of charm.

Wylde Flowers cozy witchy game

2. Wylde Flowers

If you’re into cozy gaming, you’ve probably heard of Wylde Flowers already.

But I had to include it, because it quickly became one of my all-time favourite games.

You play as Tara, helping run your grandma’s farm by day and joining a secret coven by night.

Fully voice-acted, Wylde Flowers is a beautiful game packed with romance, diversity, and a sprinkle of mystery.

I can’t wait to play their next game, Wylde Society!

Witchy Life Story

3. Witchy Life Story

This one is a short but magical visual novel that meets lifestyle sim.

You’re a chaotic young witch sent to help a village prep for a harvest festival.

With potion brewing, tarot reading, and cute character interactions, it’s a lovely little game to unwind with.

Little Witch in the Woods

4. Little Witch in the Woods

With pixel art, gentle exploration, and cozy cottagecore vibes, it’s perfect for fans of games where you gather items and help out characters.

You play as Ellie, an apprentice witch discovering the world around her. Fill your encyclopedia, craft potions, go fishing and decorate your house.

strange horticulture spooky game on nintendo switch

5. Strange Horticulture

This one’s for the dark academia lovers.

You run a mysterious plant shop in a rainy Victorian town, identifying herbs, decoding clues, and uncovering cult secrets.

It’s clever, atmospheric, and delightfully eerie. One of my favourites, for sure!

The team behind the game recently released a new game called Strange Antiquities, which I grabbed straight away.

Potionomics

6. Potionomics

You inherit a potion shop… and a ton of debt. Manage your shop, brew potions, and haggle with customers using a deck-building card system.

The visuals are gorgeous and the characters are full of personality.

It was also recently updated with voice acting!

The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood

7. The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood

A narrative-driven experience where you create your own tarot deck while in exile.

Your choices will shape the fate of a magical society.

The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood is rich in story, identity themes, and emotional depth.

I was obsessed with the gorgeous art style and meaningful dialogue. There were some laugh-out-loud moments too!

Potion Permit Cozy Witchy Game

8. Potion Permit

In Potion Permit, you’re the new chemist in town.

Your goal is to help villagers with ailments using ingredients you gather in the wild.

It’s an open-ended pixel art game like Stardew Valley.

Very chill and satisfying to play. And you get a dog companion!

Book of Hours

9. Book of Hours

From the creators of Cultist Simulator, this slow-paced, gothic game lets you rebuild and run an occult library.

It’s a deeply immersive experience full of lore, melancholy, and quiet magic.

Think: cozy horror (my cup of tea for sure!)

Ikenfell Witchy RPG

10. Ikenfell

This one is a turn-based RPG about students at a magic school.

It features quirky characters and a story that gets surprisingly emotional.

The music is excellent.

This is probably the least ‘cozy’ of these games, considering it’s a turn-based combat game, but I had to include it anyway.

Magical Delicacy Cozy Witchy Game

11. Magical Delicacy

I played the demo of this one and was instantly hooked.

I love a good pixel game!

In this one, your goal is to cook food (the magical delicacies!) for people in your town.

If you’re in the mood for gathering ingredients and crafting some dishes, this one is for you.

Mika & The witch’s mountain

12. Mika and the Witch’s Mountain

This one is super cute.

You’ll play as an aspiring witch called Mika, and your job is to deliver packages while flying around on a broom.

I feel like if you’re a Kiki’s Delivery Service fan, you’ll like this one.

It’s a very stress-free experience, ideal for a cozy gaming session.
