There’s something about autumn that feels like a natural reset. As the nights grow longer and the air turns crisp, I always find myself leaning into slower rhythms, craving comfort, and grounding my days with small rituals.
This year, I’ve been refreshing my self-care rituals with a few wellness essentials from Very. From a soothing oil diffuser and skincare tools that feel like a luxury spa at home to the coziest weighted blanket to snuggle under with a book, they’ve inspired me to embrace autumn with mindfulness and comfort.
Today I’ll be sharing my cozy wellness routine for autumn, and hope to inspire you to prioritise your self-care as we move into the colder months.
A Seasonal Self-Care Reset
Autumn is the perfect time to pause, reflect, and set new intentions.
It’s when I swap iced coffees for herbal teas, evenings out for cosy nights in with creative hobbies and candlelit gratitude journaling.
For me, wellness in autumn isn’t about strict routines or overwhelming habits: it’s about creating cosy, intentional moments that restore balance and bring a little calm during those darker evenings.
It doesn’t have to be complicated!
Adding some thoughtful self-care staples can help you feel grounded and ready to face the colder months. It’s all about those small choices we weave into our days to make us feel a bit more like ourselves.
Autumn Evening Rituals: Skincare, Calm, and Cosiness
There’s nothing better than creating a soothing evening routine to unwind after a long day.
For me, that starts with skincare. I’ve been loving the Stylpro Face Sculpting Tool, which not only feels relaxing to use but also helps me slow down and enjoy the process of applying a serum.
Over time, it’s designed to smooth and firm the skin through micro currents, but for me, it’s just as much about the ritual of treating skincare as a moment of calm.
But skincare is just one piece of the process. I’ve also been adding atmosphere to my evenings with an oil diffuser by ESPA.
There’s something so grounding about filling a room with calming scents. It instantly shifts the mood, making the space feel like a sanctuary.
I’ve loved experimenting with the different scents for different moods, in particular the Soothing oil for winding down and the Energising one for lifting my mood.
What I especially love about this diffuser is the ambient glowing light! My bedroom feels like a luxury spa, and I’m so here for it.
Finally, when it’s time to truly settle down, nothing beats a weighted blanket. Wrapped in its gentle weight, I feel cocooned, comforted, and ready for deep rest.
This one is from Silent Night, and it’s quickly become a non-negotiable for calming my nervous system.
Add a candle, a gothic novel, and a steaming mug of rooibos tea for the perfect autumn mood.
Wellness on the Go: Autumn Walks & Active Days
While I’m all about the cosy vibes, autumn self-care doesn’t have to mean staying at home!
Wellness, after all, is about balance; fresh air and movement can be just as restorative as a slow evening in.
Autumn is actually one of my favourite times of year to get outside. There’s nothing like a weekend walk through crunchy fallen leaves, armed with a coffee and an audiobook.
I’ve been reaching for pieces from Gym + Coffee, which blend comfort with style. Their leggings are ideal for crisp autumn walks or stretching sessions at home.
Their t-shirts are super soft and great for layering, and this adorable beanie is perfect for keeping my ears warm when it gets a bit chilly!
Creating Mindful Autumn Moments
As the days grow darker, it’s easy to forget to care for ourselves, but autumn is the perfect reminder to reset and prioritise mental health.
Journaling with a cup of tea, swapping screen time for reading by candlelight, or even simply taking a few minutes to breathe deeply on a walk makes a huge difference.
With the right self-care tools and comforts, autumn becomes an invitation to slow down, to ground yourself, and to nurture your body and mind.
And these wellness essentials from Very are helping me along the way.
How are you practicing self-care in Autumn?
All the best,
