[This is a guest post from Janet Richards] It might seem a little counter-intuitive to buy a coat when it’s warm out, but there are some pieces out there that are actually made for this time of year. If you have room in your wardrobe budget—and your closet!—take advantage of a few of these warm weather jacket trends. Personalized Denim Jacket Today’s denim jackets are a stylish reinvention of an old classic, and they’re perfect for summers nights spent strolling city…

Games To Play When You’re Bored!  Recently I’ve been getting more and more into video games, particularly when the weather isn’t great and I can’t go outside (yay for British summers), as well as on train journeys when I get bored. I thought I’d share a few suggestions of games to play if you’re bored, including some of my favorites, and some I’ve come across this month. I’m one of those people who enters the National Lottery now and again,…

I’ve been a bit MIA from my blog this month, for a variety of factors including spending time with my family, my anxiety, money worries, and mostly from lack of inspiration. This month I’ve been taking some time out and reading a lot of inspiring books, which have really helped me. One of the books I’ve been reading is Enchantment by Guy Kawasaki, which is amazing, I’ll write a review soon. One of the parts of Enchantment that stood out…

11 Films I’ve Seen Recently… During this past month or so, I’ve seen a lot of films both in the cinema and at home. I’ve decided to write little reviews about each one, in case you’re undecided about seeing any of them. I thought it’d be useful to write both positive and negative reviews because I tend to only see positive ones (or sometimes extremely negative ones) on social media! The Jungle Book The live-action Disney remake of The Jungle…

Recently I reached 1500 followers on Twitter (although it does fluctuate a little), 800 followers on Instagram, and 800 on Bloglovin’. As I hit all of these milestones within about a week of each other, I figured it made sense to do a giveaway to say thank-you. So here we are. The main prize is a Colourpop Matte Liquid Lipstick in the shade Beeper, because it’s difficult to get Colourpop in the UK, so I thought a lot of people…

I’ve been meaning to visit the Sky Garden in Fenchurch Street for a while now, and I finally got to go yesterday. It’s a literal garden, with a bar, cafe, restaurant, up high in London, with a fantastic view over the city. Did I mention that it’s free?! It can be a challenge to book tickets because it’s so popular, but persistence is definitely worth it (or booking a slot quite far in advance). The Sky Garden is on floor…

I’ve been vegan since around February, and living in London means there’s so many places to get vegan food! Over the last few months, I’ve visited many restaurants and cafes that offer vegan food, and some that are specifically vegan or vegetarian, so I’ve decided to compile a variety of my favourites into a big blog post for you! (Also because my Instagram is always filled with pictures of vegan food, so I thought they could serve a dual purpose). My…

You may know (because I’ve mentioned it in many blog posts), that bae spent a study abroad year in California and recently got back. He was awesome enough to let me order some Colourpop makeup to his accommodation and brought it all back for me, so I got a bit carried away and ordered a load of ultra matte liquid lipsticks, gel eyeliners and cream blushes… I wanted to try the Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks mostly, because they’re so popular…

It’s been 10 days since I posted a blog, who am I? My boyfriend got back from his study abroad year in California, so that’s my excuse. We’ve been doing fun things like seeing the Book of Mormon on Wednesday, and voting remain in the EU Referendum yesterday. Yay politics. Okay so now for the actual topic of this blog post. Tea. Everyone knows that I have a tea obsession. I drink way too much tea, and I love trying…
